Pre training process: Xtravagant x Media Filly day 1

After a 10-week spell, the Xtravagant/Media filly has returned to Tyler Aitken's stables for her next stage of training. This week marks her first steps back into the program, and with her owner in no rush, we’re focusing on building from the solid foundation established during her initial breaking-in process.

In the attached video, Tyler takes you through her first session back in the bull ring, revisiting key groundwork she mastered earlier. This groundwork is crucial as it sets her up for more advanced work in the coming weeks. The session focuses on refreshing her memory and reinforcing her understanding of basic cues while ensuring she’s comfortable and confident.

“The first day back is all about revisiting what she’s learned and starting with small steps,” Tyler explains. “We’ll gradually build on that foundation without pushing her too hard—there’s no need to rush the process.”

The filly is in fantastic condition after her spell, and her calm demeanor speaks volumes about her natural temperament and willingness to learn. Over the next few weeks, Tyler will slowly progress her workload, ensuring she remains relaxed and ready for each new challenge.

Stay tuned for updates as she develops further and watch the attached video for Tyler’s insights into her training journey!
